Brashear played in the LaPlata Softball Tournament Saturday. They started their day with a game with New Franklin. Brashear took a 4-1 lead after one inning and shut down New Franklin the rest of the way for a 5-1 win. Alexa Higgins blasted 2 home runs, driving in 4, Sierra Snyder had 2 hits, with Tanna Garlock, Ava Hagan, Hannah Grissom, and Atalie Hagan also having hits. Atalie Hagan got the win on the mound.

In the 2nd game of the day, a tough Montgomery County team scored 7 times in the first 2 innings on their way to an 11-2 win over the Tigers. Callie Althide had 2 hits with Sierra Snyder, Alexa Higgins, and Hannah Grissom also having hits. Callie Althide got the start for Brashear with Atalie Hagan pitching in relief.

The Tigers faced North Shelby in the 3rd place game. Brashear fell behind 4-2 after one inning, but scored 5 in the third and 4 in the fourth and hung on for an 11-10 win. Alexa Higgins homered and had 3 hits, Hannah Grissom also had 3 hits, Tanna Garlock, Kynleigh White, and Callie Althide had 2 hits each, and Atalie Hagan also had a hit. Atalie Hagan got the start as the Tigers took the 3rd place trophy.
